CASE STUDY:

“ATM SYSTEM”

An Automated Teller Machine is a computer based machine, connected to a network that offers, as basic functions to users, access to bank account and retrieval of money.

SYSTEM DESCRIPTION:

Ø Upon completion of user’s transaction the ATM return the idle state.

Ø If an error occurs, the ATM system will automatically shut down and return the card to the user.

Ø ATM can be shut down for maintenance/ or restarted to the idle state.

Ø The transaction may be cancelled before the anytime the transaction is sent and the necessary components of the system is reset if the cancel button is pressed.

A Main menu will be the output to the display after the validation of the PIN. The user select one of set options that representing bank service:-

v Withdrawal:  The user selects withdraw from menu and withdraws cash from the ATM.

v Deposit: The user selects deposit option from the menu and deposits or cheques in to the system.

v Bill payment: The user selects payment from the menu and enters the bills into the ATM that are to be paid.

v Account update: The user selects payment from the menu and a balance is displayed for the account.

v Print Transaction Record: ATM prints a record after a transaction.

TASK1: We plan for the project on the ATM system. This planning helps to know the outlook of the project.

TASK2: We collect all the requirements needed by the system to develop the system.

TASK3: We can design the overall system.

TASK4: Task includes the Estimation of the ATM system.

TASK5: Task includes the development of the system.

           TASK6:  Task includes the Testing of the ATM system.

           TASK7:  Task includes the implementation of the ATM system.

Notification: In the development of ATM system team members can get the notification to them by project manager in trello.

Trello notification you in your trello notifications option about the task given to you. The notifications also notifies, ongoing and upcoming task.

Activity: How much we completed the project we get notified in activity in trello. We can tell our task progress in the activity section to others.
